Arizona Cardinals place safety Kitan Crawford on injured reserve
The Arizona Cardinals have placed safety Kitan Crawford on injured reserve following an ankle sprain sustained during a Week 1 victory against the Los Angeles Chargers. Crawford, who was carted off the field in the fourth quarter, is expected to miss at least four weeks, making a potential return as early as Week 6.
In conjunction with Crawford’s move to injured reserve, the Cardinals announced several other roster changes. Cornerback Kalen King has been promoted from the practice squad to the active 53-man roster. The team also released wide receiver Ihmir Smith-Marsette from the practice squad and signed cornerback Art Green and safety Jerrick Reed II to the practice squad.
