Arizona Cardinals tight end Trey McBride fined nearly $24,000

Arizona Cardinals tight end Trey McBride has been assessed nearly $24,000 in fines following Week 7 of the NFL season. The penalties, totaling $23,882, were issued for a facemask violation and a taunting penalty during a game against the Denver Broncos.

This follows a previous fine of $17,911 issued in Week 4 for a leg-whip block, bringing McBride’s total fines for the season to nearly $42,000. McBride, who recently signed a record-setting contract to become the league’s highest-paid tight end, expressed frustration over missed opportunities during the game despite his individual performance.

The Cardinals have faced multiple disciplinary fines this season, including penalties for players Karson Sharar, Elijah Higgins, Eku Leota, and Teagan Quitoriano.
