Arizona men's basketball to host Red-Blue Showcase and top recruits

The Arizona men’s basketball program is hosting its annual Red-Blue Showcase this Saturday, September 26. The event serves as a preseason scrimmage for fans to view the squad, including new players and returning talent like Mo Krivas and Ivan Kharchenkov, while featuring activities such as a three-point shootout and slam dunk contest.

Beyond the scrimmage, the showcase is a major recruiting event for head coach Tommy Lloyd. Three highly-rated prospects from the 2027 recruiting class are scheduled for official visits: combo guard Adan Diggs, ranked as the No. 6 overall player; center Darius Wabbington, ranked as the No. 2 center; and forward Kamsi Awaka. Securing these recruits is seen as vital for maintaining the program's competitive momentum following its recent Final Four appearance.
