Arizona State head coach Kenny Dillingham has focused on acclimating his team to the time difference and preparing for Kansas’s flexible offensive scheme. The Sun Devils face logistical challenges following a recent loss to Texas A&M, including significant injuries to offensive linemen and key players like tight end AJ Ia and wide receiver Omarion Miller.

Kansas coach Lance Leipold has downplayed claims of a logistical advantage, noting that while the Jayhawks had an extra day to adjust after their game against Missouri, the difference may be minimal. The Jayhawks are also managing potential depth issues at quarterback following an injury to Cole Ballard.
