Arizona State soccer defeats Kansas State 2-0

Arizona State soccer secured a 2-0 victory over Kansas State at Buser Family Park, marking the Sun Devils’ first-ever win at the venue. The scoring was led by first-half goals from Peyton Marcisz in the ninth minute and Kierra Blundell in the 23rd minute.

Despite the loss, Kansas State goalkeeper Maddie Sibbing made a significant defensive play by saving a penalty kick attempt from Blundell in the 73rd minute. Sibbing became the first K-State goalkeeper to stop two penalty kicks in both a single season and a career. Arizona State goalkeeper Kennedy Zorn contributed to the shutout with a career-high nine saves.
