Arizona State University launches digital content creation degree

Arizona State University (ASU) has launched a new bachelor's degree program in digital content creation. The curriculum is designed to prepare students for careers in the creator economy, focusing on personal branding, audience development, and content monetization.

Graduates of the program may pursue roles such as social media managers, communication strategists, or marketing specialists. The program comes in response to shifting career aspirations among younger generations; a 2023 Morning Consult survey indicated that 57% of Generation Z participants desire to become influencers.
