Arizona State claimed the team title at the Fighting Illini Invitational held at Olympia Fields Country Club. The tournament, which was condensed to two days due to inclement weather, saw Arizona State finish at 40-under par, two shots ahead of host Illinois.

Several top collegiate programs competed in the event. Alabama men’s golf finished fourth at 38-under par, with Miles Eubanks and William Jennings both recording top-10 finishes. Oklahoma State tied for fifth place with a total of 813, two strokes behind Alabama.

Florida State finished the tournament at 5-under par. Baylor men's golf concluded the event in 15th place with an 11-over-par total. On the individual leaderboard, Ben Gregg, Max Herendeen, Conner Williams, and Max Emberson shared medalist honors in a four-way tie.
