Arizona Wildcats men's basketball Big 12 schedule announced

The Big 12 has announced the 2026-27 conference schedule for the Arizona Wildcats. Coming off a Final Four appearance and a Big 12 championship, the Wildcats are scheduled to open their regular season defense on Jan. 2 at Iowa State.

Key home matchups in Tucson include games against BYU, Houston, Kansas, and Colorado. The team will also host nonconference opponent UConn on Nov. 18. The conference slate features several high-stakes stretches, including consecutive games against NCAA Tournament-caliber opponents in February.

Despite the departures of Big 12 Player of the Year Jaden Bradley and freshmen Koa Peat and Brayden Burries, Arizona remains a top preseason contender. Preseason rankings from EvanMiya place the Wildcats at No. 4 overall. The roster is anchored by returning talent such as center Motiejus Krivas and forward Ivan Kharchenkov, both of whom are projected as preseason All-Big 12 selections.
