In the realm of technology, a survey by workforce consulting firm Careerminds indicates that 67% of surveyed Arizona small-business owners believe artificial intelligence could perform a meaningful portion of the work currently done by at least one employee. The company projects that approximately 937,000 workers in Arizona occupy roles where AI could already perform part of their job functions. While this highlights significant labor-saving potential, the report notes that these findings measure perceived capability rather than planned layoffs.
