Arjun Das confirms discussions for role in Don 3

Tamil actor Arjun Das has confirmed that filmmaker Farhan Akhtar approached him to discuss a role in the upcoming film ‘Don 3’. While Das met with Akhtar to discuss the part, he clarified that the collaboration is no longer moving forward.

The project, which was announced in 2023, has faced significant uncertainty following the exit of Ranveer Singh, who was originally slated to take over the iconic role previously played by Amitabh Bachchan and Shah Rukh Khan. Reports regarding Singh's departure vary, with some citing creative differences and others suggesting he was dismissed by producers due to conflicting demands.

As of now, the production timeline for ‘Don 3’ remains unclear and filming has not yet commenced. Das expressed his gratitude for the opportunity and noted his admiration for Akhtar’s professionalism, stating he hopes to work with the director in the future.
