ARK Invest adds $43.5 million in crypto‑linked stocks including Coinbase and Circle

Over the past three trading sessions ARK Invest allocated roughly $43.5 million to crypto‑related equities. The firm bought about 122,544 Coinbase shares valued at $18.6 million, 169,777 Circle shares worth $12.9 million, roughly $5.2 million of Bullish, $5.1 million of Robinhood and $1.7 million of SoFi Technologies. These purchases were made through ARK’s Innovation, Next Generation Internet and Blockchain & Fintech Innovation ETFs. On the day of the latest buys, Coinbase closed up 1.7% at $151.65, Circle rose 3.3% to $75.96, Bullish gained 1.7% and Robinhood climbed 3.2%. ARK’s strategy is contrarian, adding positions while the stocks were on a downward trend, signalling confidence in the sector despite broader crypto‑market weakness and Bitcoin’s slide toward $58,000. The moves coincide with Coinbase CEO Brian Armstrong’s vision of the platform serving an “agentic economy” for AI‑driven financial applications, adding a longer‑term narrative to the short‑term price dip buying.
