Ark Invest boosts stake in crypto exchange Bullish with $4.4M purchase

Ark Invest, the investment firm led by Cathie Wood, purchased roughly $4.4 million of Bullish shares this week. The buys were spread across three of its exchange‑traded funds – the Innovation ETF, the Next Generation Internet ETF and the Fintech Innovation ETF – after Bullish’s stock fell more than 15 % over five trading days and then edged higher.

Before the latest trade, Ark’s holdings in Bullish were valued at about $172 million; the new purchase lifts the total exposure to roughly $176 million. Bullish, a crypto‑exchange and market‑infrastructure provider, reported a first‑quarter net loss of $604.9 million but saw adjusted revenue rise to $92.8 million from $62.4 million a year earlier. Ark’s activity also included buying shares in BitMine Immersion Technologies, underscoring its focus on the equity layer of the crypto economy rather than spot‑crypto ETFs.
