ARK Invest rotates semiconductor holdings from AMD to Nvidia and Broadcom

ARK Invest, led by Cathie Wood, has executed a significant rebalancing of its semiconductor and AI-related holdings. The firm divested approximately $74.5 million in Advanced Micro Devices (AMD) shares across several exchange-traded funds.

In a strategic rotation, the firm increased its exposure to Nvidia, acquiring 243,707 shares valued at roughly $53 million following a post-earnings price correction. ARK also accumulated positions in Broadcom, Cerebras, and Cloudflare. The Broadcom purchases were made ahead of the company’s quarterly earnings report.

Additionally, the firm reduced its position in CrowdStrike, selling approximately 14,300 shares. These moves reflect a shift in focus toward specific AI infrastructure and semiconductor leaders while trimming positions in other high-growth technology stocks.
