Arkansas basketball teams host annual Primetime at the Palace event

The Arkansas men’s and women’s basketball teams held the second annual ‘Primetime at the Palace’ showcase at Bud Walton Arena. Men’s head coach John Calipari noted that approximately 5,000 more tickets were distributed for the event compared to its debut last year.

As the men’s team prepares for exhibition games against Gonzaga and Memphis, Calipari highlighted the roster's potential to contend for a national championship. However, he cautioned that the team, which features several freshmen, may face an adjustment period as they learn to compete against high-major opponents. Calipari emphasized the importance of a competitive spirit and conditioning as the team transitions into the upcoming season.
