Arkansas Full Table Fund launched to combat food insecurity

The Arkansas Community Foundation has launched the Arkansas Full Table Fund, a statewide initiative aimed at addressing food insecurity through sustainable, community-driven solutions.

The program is supported by a $10 million grant from the Walmart Foundation, with additional funding provided by Tyson Foods and Cargill. The fund seeks to unite public agencies, agricultural producers, and corporations to improve food system capacity and policy.

Starting October 1, Arkansas nonprofit organizations may apply for grant funding to enhance access to federal nutrition programs and drive community-led solutions. The application period remains open until December 7.
