Arkansas Music Scene Showcases Live Concerts and Legendary Singers

A weekend of live music sweeps Arkansas from July 30 to August 2, with performances at venues such as The Hall in Little Rock, the Walmart Arkansas Music Pavilion in Rogers, and smaller clubs in Hot Springs, Conway, Fayetteville and other towns. Acts range from classic rock groups like The Wallflowers and country star Darius Rucker to regional bands and open‑mic nights, filling dozens of stages across the state.

Arkansas’ musical legacy is also highlighted by its famous native singers. The state has produced icons such as Johnny Cash, whose baritone voiced country, folk and rock ballads, and Glen Campbell, noted for his crossover success. These artists exemplify the state’s rich Ozark, Delta and gospel traditions that continue to influence new performers.
