Arkansas soccer prepares for season opener against Baylor

Arkansas head coach Colby Hale emphasized the need for more consistent 90-minute performances, noting that the team struggled to maintain momentum throughout full matches during exhibitions. The Razorbacks were projected to finish second in the SEC preseason coaches poll, with five players named to the preseason SEC watchlist.

Baylor enters the matchup as a formidable opponent, having reached the NCAA Tournament Sweet 16 last season. The Bears' roster includes six players with previous experience at SEC schools and are projected to finish seventh in the Big 12.
