Arkansas universities host Halloween festivities

Arkansas State University and the University of Arkansas have announced various Halloween-themed events for late October.

Arkansas State University will host a free Halloween Art Bash and trunk-or-treat at Windgate Hall of Art and Innovation on October 30. The event features a haunted gallery, student-created displays, and interactive art activities. Collaborations between the Art + Design department and the College of Engineering and Computer Science include 3D-printed giveaways and inflatable art. Other attractions include radiology student X-rays, vintage postcards, and animal skeletons.

The University of Arkansas is hosting “Hogoween” activities centered around Razorback Stadium during its 104th annual Homecoming Week. Fans can participate in trick-or-treating at tailgate lots, the South Endzone Food Court, and various campus locations. The festivities include a halftime laser show and a student costume contest during the Battle Line Rivalry game against Missouri.
