Arlen plans acquisition of Czech footwear producer Prabos

Polish manufacturer of protective clothing and fabrics for uniformed services, Arlen, has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to acquire a controlling stake in the Czech footwear producer Prabos.

The planned transaction is intended to be completed in two stages. In the first stage, Arlen aims to purchase a 60 percent stake in Prabos for 6.4 million euros, with a target completion date of September 30, 2026. The second stage involves the acquisition of an additional 15.66 percent stake, which could be requested within two years of the first stage.

Prabos specializes in military, tactical, and professional footwear, serving the Czech army and other military formations. The companies have previously collaborated on tenders for the Polish military. The current majority shareholder of Prabos has expressed readiness to continue serving as the company's president for at least two years following the closing of the deal.
