Arles region organizes emergency support for businesses hit by severe weather

Economic institutions in the Pays d’Arles region are launching an emergency mobilization plan to support businesses affected by recent severe weather and flooding. A crisis and information meeting is scheduled for Thursday, October 29, at the Palais des Congrès d’Arles to assist small businesses, artisans, traders, and agricultural operations.

The initiative is led by the three consular chambers—the Chamber of Commerce and Industry (CCI), the Chamber of Trades and Crafts, and the Chamber of Agriculture—in coordination with the local sub-prefecture. The goal is to provide a ‘single window’ of support to help business leaders navigate financial, fiscal, and insurance-related challenges resulting from property damage, operational losses, and cash flow difficulties.

Representatives from various administrative and financial bodies will be present to provide direct guidance, including the Banque de France, Urssaf, the Commercial Court, and various regional and departmental authorities. The support framework also includes psychological assistance through the Ape network to address the impact on business owners.
