Arman Tsarukyan accuses Charles Oliveira of using teammate's death as excuse

UFC lightweight contender Arman Tsarukyan has accused Charles Oliveira of using the death of a teammate as an excuse to avoid a rumored rematch at UFC 331. Speaking on ‘The Ariel Helwani Show’, Tsarukyan questioned the validity of Oliveira’s withdrawal, noting that the Brazilian fighter appeared to return to training within a few days of the passing of Allan Nascimento.

Tsarukyan suggested that Oliveira might be seeking more favorable matchups, such as a fight against Diego Lopes, rather than facing him. While the rematch was never officially confirmed by the UFC, the controversy follows the sudden change in the UFC 331 fight card.

As a result of the scheduling shifts, the UFC has confirmed that Tsarukyan will instead face Mauricio Ruffy in the co-main event of UFC 331. The event is set to take place on September 19 in Los Angeles.
