UFC lightweight contender Arman Tsarukyan has provided a timeline for his pursuit of the 155 lbs championship, stating he expects to fight for the title in the first quarter of 2027, potentially around February or March.

Tsarukyan, who is currently on a six-fight winning streak following a knockout victory over Mauricio Ruffy at UFC 331, expressed uncertainty regarding his potential opponent. He noted that reigning champion Justin Gaethje may choose to retire following his victory over Ilia Topuria at UFC Freedom 250.

If Gaethje does not defend the belt, Tsarukyan suggested he might face other top names in the division, such as Ilia Topuria or Paddy Pimblett, for a vacant title.
