Olympiacos submits formal offer for Chivas striker Armando González
Olympiacos has submitted a formal initial offer to Chivas Guadalajara to acquire Mexican striker Armando ‘La Hormiga’ González. The Greek club has reportedly been monitoring the 23-year-old forward for some time and has moved to formalize negotiations to secure his services for their squad.
González, a prominent talent in Liga MX, has a release clause set at 15 million dollars. While Olympiacos may aim to negotiate a lower amount, Chivas is reportedly open to accepting a reduced fee provided they retain a percentage of the player's future sale rights.
The striker has shown significant goal-scoring form, including being a top scorer in the Liga MX Sub-23 tournament and performing strongly in the first division. His contract with Chivas runs until 2029, giving the Mexican club significant leverage in the ongoing discussions.
