Olympiacos: Armando González scores and assists in Greek Cup win

Mexican forward Armando ‘La Hormiga’ González has made a significant impact in his first start for Olympiacos. During a 4-0 victory against AEL Larissa in the Greek Cup, González scored his first European goal in the 34th minute with a header following a cross from Kostas Fortounis. He also provided an assist in the 54th minute, setting up Bruno Onyemaechi for a goal.

This performance marks the end of a scoring drought for González, who had not scored since April 5. He celebrated his goal with a ‘Kamehameha’ gesture from Dragon Ball. The victory keeps Olympiacos undefeated in the current season.

In related transfer news, Olympiacos has also officially announced the signing of Colombian midfielder Gustavo Puerta from Racing de Santander. The 23-year-old move reportedly involved a release clause of approximately 16 million euros, strengthening the club's midfield for both domestic and European competitions.
