Armando González seeks first Greek Super League goal with Olympiacos

Mexican striker Armando González is seeking his first goal in the Greek Super League with Olympiacos. While he has already scored three goals for the club in cup and European competitions, he aims to find the net in domestic play during the upcoming match against Levadiakos.

Olympiacos manager Imanol Alguacil has praised the scoring form of González and Roman Yaremcuk following their performances in the Europa League. To bolster the squad following an injury to Ayoub El Kaabi, the club has also signed Chadian striker Marius Mouandilmadji.

Other Mexican players in Europe are also preparing for upcoming fixtures: Alvaro Fidalgo is seeking playing time with Real Betis against Deportivo La Coruña, while Obed Vargas awaits an opportunity in the Madrid derby with Atletico Madrid. In Portugal, Santiago Giménez looks to build momentum for Porto ahead of the match against Benfica, and Mateo Chávez remains with AZ Alkmaar in the Netherlands.
