Armando León scores twice for NK Osijek in Croatia

Mexican striker Armando León scored two goals for NK Osijek during a 6-1 victory against NK Rudeš in the Croatian First League. León opened the scoring in the 12th minute and added a second in the 28th minute.

León, 26, joined NK Osijek this year following a stint with Ranger’s FC in Andorra. His previous professional experience includes playing for Club León in Mexico, as well as Mineros de Zacatecas, Alebrijes de Oaxaca, and FC Santa Coloma.

With this win, NK Osijek holds first place after two matches of the 2026-2027 season. The team is scheduled to play against Lokomotiva on Saturday, August 15.
