Armando Trapote and Imma Roquet achieve historic results in Aachen

Spanish riders Armando Trapote and Imma Roquet achieved historic results at the World Equestrian Championships in Aachen. Armando Trapote, riding Tornado VS, secured a 10th-place finish, marking the best individual classification for a Spanish rider in a World Championship since 1966 and the best performance by a Spanish pair in the 21st century.

Imma Roquet, competing in her first World Championship, finished in 20th place riding Irívola del Maset. This result represents the highest historical placement for a Spanish female rider at the championships. Irívola del Maset is a Spanish Sport Horse (CDE) raised and trained by Roquet herself.

In the team competition, Spain finished in 14th place, narrowly missing the final round by 2.33 points behind Ireland. While Trapote and Roquet advanced to the individual final of the top 25, teammate Alberto Márquez Galobardes was unable to compete in the third round due to a minor injury to his mare.
