Olimpia Milano dismisses head coach Peppe Poeta

Olimpia Milano has officially announced the dismissal of head coach Peppe Poeta following a difficult start to the EuroLeague season. The decision comes after the team recorded nine losses in its first ten matches, leaving them at the bottom of the standings.

The club released a statement thanking Poeta for his dedication and enthusiasm, noting his contributions both as an assistant coach and as head coach, during which he secured a Scudetto, an Italian Cup, and a Super Cup. While the club expressed best wishes for his future, it did not specify the exact reasons for the termination.

Marco Ramondino has been appointed as the interim coach and will lead the team in their upcoming game this Sunday.
