ArmDrone launches FPV drone educational program for teenagers

The ArmDrone community has launched the second phase of its free educational program focused on First-Person View (FPV) drones for teenagers, supported by Ucom. The initiative received over 500 applications.

Participants in the program receive instruction on UAV technologies and FPV systems, covering drone operation, flight planning, and safe flying practices. The curriculum includes practical outdoor training sessions where students practice controlling devices and adjusting software and flight parameters in field conditions.

According to Ucom General Director Ralph Yirikian, the initiative aims to encourage interest in technology and professional skill development to strengthen Armenia’s position as a regional hub for innovation. Hayk Karapetyan noted that the program seeks to foster technical thinking and an engineering mindset to create opportunities within the UAV sector.
