Armed attacks reported at commercial establishments in Paraguay

Two separate incidents of armed violence were reported at commercial locations in Paraguay.

In Pedro Juan Caballero, a lone motorcyclist wearing a helmet and dark clothing opened fire on an ice cream parlor on Aníbal Marisevich Street. The attack destroyed the establishment's main glass entrance. The owner, Bernarda Rivas de Bogado, reported that she had received no prior threats and suggested the attackers may have targeted the wrong location. Local police and forensic investigators are reviewing security footage to identify the perpetrator.

In a separate incident in the Naco area, two armed individuals robbed customers at a business named El Atelier de Nico. One suspect wore a motorcycle helmet to conceal his identity, while the other remained uncovered. The robbery took place around 3:00 PM, and the suspects threatened those present to steal personal belongings. No physical injuries were reported.
