Armed Border Force leads medal tally at All India Police Judo Championship in Hyderabad
The 11th All India Police Judo Cluster Championship 2026 took place in Hyderabad under the supervision of the All India Police Sports Control Board and the CISF. Thirty‑one central and state police organisations fielded 289 athletes – 186 men and 103 women – who contested 331 matches across seven weight categories for each gender.
The Armed Border Force (SSB) emerged as the top‑performing team, winning six gold, four silver and four bronze medals for a total of 14 podium finishes. The Border Security Force (BSF) placed second with two gold, two silver and two bronze medals, while the Uttar Pradesh Police secured the third spot with two gold, one silver and three bronze. Other medal‑winning teams included ITBP, Assam Rifles, Manipur, Punjab Police, CISF and CRPF. The championship will continue with taekwondo, wushu, karate and penchak silat events scheduled through 30 July 2026.
