Armed robberies in Reggio Emilia and Rome lead to arrest and injury

In Reggio Emilia, police stopped a robbery at an Esselunga supermarket when a Tunisian suspect, after stealing goods worth more than €300, attacked a security guard. Carabinieri intervened, used a Taser to subdue the man, and arrested him for attempted robbery, resistance and assault on a public officer.

In Rome, two masked gunmen burst into a bar on via Tiburtina, demanding the cash register and safe. An employee tried to resist and was grazed by a bullet to the leg. The assailants fled, and the injured worker was taken to the hospital. Police are investigating both incidents.
