Armed robbery at Chedraui supermarket in Cancún

An armed robbery occurred in broad daylight at the Chedraui Santa Fe supermarket parking lot in the southern zone of Cancún. Two suspects on a motorcycle targeted a family, using a firearm to threaten the parents and their infant to prevent resistance.

The assailants, described as wearing helmets and blue face masks, stole approximately 30,000 pesos in cash and other valuables. The victims reported that the criminals appeared to have been monitoring the area near a nearby pharmacy before launching the ambush as the family walked toward the store entrance.
