Armed robbery at Madrid bingo hall leads to vehicle collision

Four individuals carried out an armed robbery at the Bingo Liceo in the Usera district of Madrid during the early hours of Monday, October 12. Three masked assailants entered the establishment, where one pointed a handgun at a female employee to demand the cash from the register. The group managed to steal between 800 and 900 euros.

The suspects fled the scene in a previously stolen BMW. During the high-speed escape, the vehicle collided with an EMT municipal bus and a private car that were stopped at a traffic light near the intersection of Calle de Marcelo Usera and Glorieta de Cádiz. No injuries were reported in the collision, though the bus sustained minor damage.

Police later located the abandoned BMW on Calle de Sebastián Gómez. Investigators found an extinguisher inside the vehicle, similar to one used during the robbery. The Madrid Provincial Scientific Police Brigade and the National Police are currently reviewing security footage and conducting forensic analysis to identify the suspects.
