Armed robbery in Cuautlancingo leaves 450,000 pesos stolen

Armed individuals intercepted a victim in Cuautlancingo, Puebla, stealing 450,000 pesos in cash. The victim had just withdrawn the funds from a BBVA branch to cover company payroll.

The robbery occurred on the Periférico Ecológico near the Mexico-Puebla highway. Two vehicles, a white Chevy and a red car, were used by the four armed assailants to corner the victim and seize a briefcase containing the money.

Local, state, and municipal police conducted searches in the area following a 911 emergency call, but no suspects have been apprehended. Investigations remain ongoing.
