Armenia hosts diplomatic meetings with Canadian and Indian ambassadors

Armenian President Vahagn Khachaturyan held several diplomatic meetings as foreign envoys concluded their missions. He met with Canada's Ambassador Andrew Turner, expressing gratitude for Canadian support during difficult periods and discussing future cooperation in economic sectors and artificial intelligence.

Additionally, the President met with India's Ambassador Nilakshi Saha Sinha. Discussions focused on strengthening defense cooperation, economic ties, and the potential for establishing direct aviation between Armenia and India to boost tourism and business.

Other domestic developments in Armenia include a criminal investigation into an alleged assault on a police officer, which authorities deny, and legal proceedings involving a citizen accused of threatening a political figure. In the economic sector, major oil companies Petrobras and Pemex are collaborating on a high-risk project to explore deep-sea oil reserves near the Mexican coast.
