Armenia and Russia discuss replacing ambassadors
Armenia and Russia are reportedly discussing the simultaneous replacement of their respective ambassadors. According to government sources, both nations have expressed dissatisfaction with the current effectiveness of their diplomatic representatives.
In Moscow, officials are seeking a successor for the Russian Ambassador to Armenia, Sergey Kopyrkin, citing concerns that he has not established the necessary level of relations or worked effectively with Armenian authorities.
Similarly, Yerevan is undergoing an accelerated process to replace Armenia's Ambassador to the Russian Federation, Gurgen Arsenyan. Armenian officials are reportedly dissatisfied with Arsenyan's ability to achieve expected results in the field of Armenian-Russian relations.
