Armenia and United States strengthen diplomatic and economic ties
Relations between Armenia and the United States continue to strengthen through diplomatic, economic, and religious engagement. US President Donald Trump met with Armenian religious leaders at the White House to discuss bilateral relations, religious freedoms, and efforts toward regional peace and stability. During the meeting, leaders emphasized the importance of spiritual values in the peace process.
On the economic front, the Armenian government is moving forward with the TRIPP development company, a joint venture where the US government holds a 74 percent ownership share. This initiative is part of the broader ‘Crossroads of Peace’ project, which aims to transform Armenia into a regional hub for trade and infrastructure. Ambassador Narek Mkrtchyan stated that the project is intended for cooperation rather than isolation of third parties, noting that the initiative seeks to create new global supply chains while respecting the sovereignty of neighboring nations.
