Armenia hosts international cycling race launch and book festival

Armenia is preparing for several significant cultural and sporting events. The official symbol for the ‘Tour of Armenia’, an international professional multi-day cycling race, has been unveiled near Lake Karap near the mountains. The race is notable for being the first 2.2 class event in Armenia included in the International Cycling Union (UCI) international calendar.

Additionally, the 9th Yerevan International Book Festival has officially opened at the National Gallery of Armenia. The theme for this year is ‘Language as the memory of civilization’. The Ministry of Education, Science, Culture and Sport has designated this as the ‘Year of Reading’ to promote literacy and personal development through reading.
