Yemen government forces lose territory in clashes with Ansar Allah

Yemeni government forces have lost control of several territories in the Taiz governorate following clashes with Ansar Allah militants. The most intense fighting occurred in the al-Barahum and Makbanay regions.

Experts warn that if militants succeed in severing the primary supply route used by the government to supply troops in Taiz and al-Mukha, they may attempt to seize al-Mukha.

Clashes have also been reported in the al-Jawf region following a government offensive. Military forces have utilized drones and airstrikes against militant positions and weapon depots. Additionally, government-aligned National Resistance forces have engaged in heavy combat in the strategic Hodeidah governorate.
