Armenia: Presidential meeting on Pan-Armenian Games and ministerial reappointment

Armenian President Vahagn Khachaturyan met with Ishkhan Zakaryan, President of the World Committee of Pan-Armenian Games, to discuss preparations for upcoming games. The discussions focused on strengthening ties between Armenia and the Diaspora, as well as fostering youth engagement.

A key initiative mentioned is the development of a multifunctional sports camp near the Vernazh forest park. Supported by the Armenian government, this facility is intended to serve as a permanent platform for youth, sports, and Diaspora cooperation beyond the duration of the games.

In separate political developments, Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan has reappointed Arman Khojoyan as Deputy Minister of Economy. Khojoyan holds advanced degrees in agricultural sciences and has completed various international leadership and business programs.
