Drone attacks in Russia kill two children and strike Ozon centers

A series of overnight drone attacks across multiple Russian regions has resulted in civilian casualties and significant damage to commercial infrastructure. In the Krasnodar region, drone debris struck a private childcare center, killing two children and injuring seven others and two adults, according to regional Governor Veniamin Kondratyev.

The attacks also targeted logistics centers belonging to the e-commerce giant Ozon. Strikes were reported at Ozon facilities in Krasnodar, Nevinnomyssk in the Stavropol region, and Dagestan. These strikes caused major fires and disrupted warehouse operations. In Dagestan, drone debris also damaged infrastructure and ignited fires in storage areas.

These incidents occur as Ukraine marks its 35th anniversary of independence. While Moscow has characterized the strikes as targeting political infrastructure, the attacks have caused substantial economic damage to commercial entities.
