Firebird launches major AI factory in Armenia

Firebird has officially launched the first phase of its flagship AI factory in Hrazdan, Armenia. The facility, which is part of a larger $5 billion project, serves as a strategic hub for artificial intelligence computing in the region.

The current phase includes 6,144 NVIDIA GPUs and is projected to scale to over 70,000 NVIDIA Blackwell and Vera Rubin GPUs by the end of 2027, reaching a capacity of 300 megawatts. The project is built on the NVIDIA DSX platform and utilizes Dell Technologies high-performance servers.

Firebird plans to expand its global AI infrastructure pipeline to 2 gigawatts by the end of 2028, targeting emerging markets including Armenia and Kazakhstan. The inauguration was attended by Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan, NVIDIA CEO Jensen Huang, and other international government and technology leaders.
