Armenian Government calls extraordinary National Assembly session
The Armenian government has called for an extraordinary session of the National Assembly on October 12 at 11:00 AM. The session's agenda focuses on the ratification of two international agreements.
The first proposal involves an agreement between the Government of Armenia and the Secretariat of the Convention on Biological Diversity. This agreement concerns the hosting of several international conferences, including the 17th meeting of the Conference of the Parties to the Convention on Biological Diversity, the 20th meeting of the Conference of the Parties to the Cartagena Protocol, and the 6th meeting of the Conference of the Parties to the Nagoya Protocol.
The second agenda item concerns a financial agreement between Armenia and the International Bank for Reconstruction and Development regarding a program for the development of Armenia's housing and mortgage market.
