Armenian National Assembly and UNDP sign parliamentary development pact

The National Assembly of Armenia and the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) have signed a memorandum of understanding regarding parliamentary development for the 2026–2031 period.

During a meeting on October 15, National Assembly Vice President Hayk Konjoryan and UNDP Administrator Haoliang Siu discussed priorities for strengthening institutional capacity, digitalization, transparency, and accountability. Konjoryan noted that previous cooperation has helped establish a foundation for a modern and responsive parliament through legislative improvements and new mechanisms for civic participation.

The new program aims to fully institutionalize ongoing reforms and integrate them into the daily operations of the ninth convocation of the National Assembly.
