Armenian President visits AERO Vodochody in Czech Republic

Armenian President Vahagn Chačaturjan visited the AERO Vodochody AEROSPACE a. s. manufacturing facility in the Czech Republic as part of an official state visit. During the tour, the President was introduced to the company’s current production programs, development capabilities, and its history in the military aircraft sector.

A primary focus of the visit was the L-39 Skyfox, the latest generation of the successful L-39 trainer aircraft family. The President examined the aircraft closely to understand its application in modern military pilot training.

Armenia has a long-standing history of using L-39 Albatros aircraft within its air force. Viktor Sotona, President and Chairman of the Board of AERO, noted that the visit could serve as an impulse for the further development of the long-term relationship between the company and Armenia.
