Armenia schedules widespread electricity cuts in Yerevan on July 13
On July 13, the state-owned company Armenian Electric Networks will carry out planned maintenance that will temporarily suspend electricity supply to numerous addresses in Yerevan and several regions. In the capital, specific streets in the Arabkir, Kentron, Saritagh, Erevan, Shengavit, Nor Nork, Norq Marash, Ajapnyak and Malatia‑Sebastia districts will experience outages between 10:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m., affecting hundreds of buildings and individual households. Outside the city, parts of Aragatsotn, Ararat, Gegharkunik, Kotayk and Vayots Dzor provinces will also see cuts for several hours. The interruptions are described as temporary and intended to facilitate network upgrades.
