Armidale Principals Network honors educators at Public Education Week

The Armidale Principals Network held its annual Public Education Week awards ceremony, celebrating achievements of students, teachers and staff from the region’s 19 public schools. Fifteen schools were represented at the event, where the theme “Inspiring Excellence” guided the recognition of outstanding study, teaching, leadership and community support.

Network Director Matt Hobbs highlighted the diversity of accomplishments, noting that participants ranged from kindergarten pupils to Year‑12 students, apprentices and trainees, as well as school leaders who inspire others. He also praised the often‑unseen work of educators who operate behind the scenes, emphasizing collaboration as a key strength of the Armidale network.
