Armin Hodžić re-elected president of Bosniak National Council

Armin Hodžić has been unanimously re-elected as the president of the Bosniak National Council (BNV) in Croatia. The new leadership, consisting of 34 members from 16 locations across the country, has adopted a strategic program aimed at strengthening political representation and connecting the Bosniak community.

The BNV's programmatic declaration sets goals through 2036, focusing on the reinforcement of cultural and educational institutions, media, the economy, and political presence. Key initiatives include providing scholarships for at least 500 Bosniak students, developing eight cultural centers, strengthening entrepreneurial networks, and increasing the involvement of women and youth. The council also aims to foster connections between Bosniaks in Croatia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, and the diaspora.

Hodžić, who has led the BNV since 2018 and serves in the Croatian Parliament, emphasized the importance of long-term planning and knowledge transfer for future generations. The election received support from other minority representatives, including Milorad Pupovac, who highlighted the importance of cooperation between different national minorities to contribute to a stronger democratic society.
