Armin van Buuren performs in drag and celebrates 25 years of A State Of Trance

DJ Armin van Buuren appeared as a drag queen named Daisy Bell on the Dutch television program ‘Make Up Your Mind’ to advocate for LGBTQ+ inclusivity and acceptance within the dance music community. After spending five hours in makeup, the artist revealed his identity to a standing ovation from the panel and audience, stating that he participated to support the message of allowing everyone to be themselves at his events.

In addition to his television appearance, van Buuren is celebrating the 25th anniversary of his ‘A State Of Trance’ brand. A limited-edition silver vinyl titled ‘A State Of Trance 25 Years — Selected Highlights’ is scheduled for release on October 30 via Music On Vinyl. The curated collection features classic tracks and new remixes by artists such as Andrew Rayel and Matt Fax. The anniversary celebrations will also include events in Rotterdam in February 2027 and various global chapters throughout the year.
